Our first look at Disney’s Star Wars theme park expansions

It’s hard to believe that when Disney announced plans this past summer to build Star Wars-themed expansions in both Disneyland and the Disney World Resorts, The Force Unleashed was still a giant question mark looming over the future of the brand. Last night, with the critical success and over $2 billion in ticket sales for the film, a confident Disney used the Disneyland 60 televised event to showcase the first extended look at the theme park project.
